The White Mainstream

In my opinion when you identify the values and and cultural norms as being white your basically saying that this is how whites are doing things. When it comes to who sets those norms it would have to be the media because they are the ones that have the power to put information out there to make people feel a certain way about things. All cultures are different so what some cultures and races value are going to be different than another race. When it comes to what most humans value i would have to say that we are all alike when it comes to things like education, family, and life.
